No Spray or Weak Water Pressure on Eau by TUSHYUpdated 2 hours ago

If your Eau's bidet spray has stopped working, is coming out at a trickle, or is sputtering when it should be flowing smoothly here's how to track down the cause and fix it.

Water Pressure Setting Is Too Low

The most common reason for weak spray is simply that the pressure is set to a low level.

Fix:

  1. Press the Water Pressure button on the remote to increase the pressure. There are 5 settings.
  2. You can also adjust pressure using the Side Control Knob on the toilet — rotate forward during an active wash to increase, backward to decrease.

Water Supply Valve Isn't Fully Open
If the angle valve beside the toilet is only partially open, water flow will be restricted across all functions.

Fix:

  1. Locate the water supply valve beside or behind the toilet.
  2. Turn it fully counter-clockwise to ensure it's completely open.
  3. Run a wash cycle and check if pressure has improved.

💦 Tip: If the display shows error code E5-A, this confirms the toilet is detecting no water. A closed or partially closed valve is the most likely cause.

A Hose Is Kinked
A kinked water hose will restrict or completely cut off flow.

Fix:

  1. Inspect both the Bidet Water Supply Hose and the Flush Water Hose behind and around the toilet base.
  2. Straighten any kinks you find. Ensure there's no furniture, cabinetry, or the toilet itself pinching a hose.

The Steel Mesh Filter Is Clogged
The T-Adapter with Built-In Filter collects sediment over time. A clogged filter is a very common cause of reduced spray pressure, especially in hard water areas.

Fix:

  1. Turn off the water supply and unplug the toilet.
  2. Disconnect the T-Adapter from the water valve and hoses.
  3. Rinse the steel mesh filter under warm running water until clear.
  4. Reinstall, turn the water back on, and check for leaks.

The Nozzle Is Clogged
Mineral buildup on the nozzle itself can restrict spray output.

Fix:

  1. Without sitting on the seat, hold the Dryer Temperature button on the remote for 5 seconds. The nozzle will extend.
  2. Gently clean the nozzle with a soft brush. Do not pull the nozzle out with force — this can break it.
  3. Press the Stop button to retract the nozzle when done.

💦 Tip:  You can also press the Clean Nozzle button on the remote to run an automatic nozzle self-cleaning cycle.

A Gasket Is Blocking the Water Line
If a rubber gasket slipped out of position during installation (or a maintenance step), it can partially or fully block water flow.

Fix:

  1.  Turn off the water supply valve and unplug the toilet.
  2. Undo each hose connection one at a time and check that no gasket is misplaced or sitting in the water path.
  3. Reseat any displaced gaskets and reconnect the hoses.
  4. Turn the water back on and test.

Sputtering at Maximum Pressure — This Is Normal
If you only notice sputtering at the highest pressure setting (setting 5), your toilet is functioning exactly as designed. At maximum pressure, the Eau uses an internal air pump to boost the spray pattern and this air injection causes a sputtering or pulsing effect. Drop to setting 4 if you prefer a smoother stream.

Your Home's Water Pressure Is Low

If your home has generally low water pressure, all water-using appliances will be affected. Use lower spray pressure settings until you're able to address the underlying pressure issue with a plumber.
