What to do if the Eau nozzle won't retractUpdated 2 hours ago
If the Eau's bidet nozzle extends during a wash cycle and won't fully retract when the cycle ends, here's how to resolve it.
Step 1: Press Stop
Press the Stop button on your remote. This cancels any active function and should trigger the nozzle to retract.
Step 2: Check that you're seated
The Eau's nozzle functions only activate while the seat sensor is triggered. If you've stood up but the nozzle is still extended, pressing Stop should retract it regardless.
Step 3: Power cycle the unit
If Stop doesn't work:
- Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug back in.
The Eau runs a self-diagnostic cycle on startup where the nozzle will extend briefly and then retract automatically as part of this cycle. That's normal.
Step 4: Check for physical obstruction
Don't try to manually push or pull the nozzle. If something is physically blocking the nozzle track, contact us before attempting anything yourself. Forcing it can cause damage.
What not to do
Do not attempt to pull the nozzle out manually. Do not push it with excessive force. The nozzle mechanism is designed to be operated electrically only.
