What do I do if my home has hard water?Updated 14 hours ago
Don't worry! We've got your back(side)!
A home with hard water would greatly benefit from a filter for several reasons:
Prevents Clogging: Hard water contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that can lead to buildup in your bidet’s internal components, potentially clogging nozzles and reducing water flow.
Extends Bidet Lifespan: A filter helps prevent scale buildup inside the bidet, protecting valves and hoses from damage and ensuring long-term functionality.
If you have a TUSHY Electric Bidet (Aura, Cloud, Cloud+), you'll need to get this filter:
Electric Bidet Water Filter with Stainless Steel Mesh
Every TUSHY electric bidet comes with one filter included, and depending on your water hardness, we recommend replacing the water filter every 6 months to 1 year.
If you have a TUSHY Non-Electric Bidet Seat (Wave and Oasis) or our Bidet Attachments (Classic, Fresh and Spa), you'll need to get these parts:
To get everything working perfectly, you'll need to purchase a water filter like this one.
If you get the one linked above, you’ll also need this new mega adapter (7/8" by 1/2", metal) and a 3/8" by 1/2" hose.
Check out this helpful diagram to see how this will be set up!
