The red lights illuminating on the remote (or going berserk!) simply mean that your AAA batteries need replacing.

To prevent your remote from pooping out too soon, we recommend using a reliable battery brand such as Energizer or Duracell. An even better way that will save your wallet and the environment is to get a couple sets of rechargeable batteries!
