How do I use my Inlet Cap for the Spa or Hot Water Supply Cap for the Oasis?Updated 3 hours ago
Sometimes ya get a TUSHY Spa or Oasis and then realize you don't have a sink close enough to hook up the warm water side. A true bummer, we know! Good news: you can still use your bidet, cool water only, no rewiring your bathroom required.
TUSHY Spa
You can totally hook up your TUSHY Spa and use it as a TUSHY Classic. Using the cool water connection alone works just fine, and it gives you flexibility if you want to connect the warm water side in a different bathroom down the road.
Your box comes with a cap that screws onto the hot water connection under the TUSHY console, giving you a clean double seal on top of the internal valve. It's called an Inlet Cap.
Here's how to use it:
- Remove the plastic barb fastener or metal push-to-connect adapter currently seated in the hot water port.
- Screw on the Inlet Cap, making sure the black rubber gasket is inserted inside the cap for a tight seal.
Here's what it looks like:
Or you might receive one that looks like this.

TUSHY Oasis
Same idea, different name. You can hook up your TUSHY Oasis and use it as a TUSHY Wave, cool water connection only. This also gives you flexibility to connect the warm water side later if your setup changes.
Your box comes with a cap that screws onto the hot water inlet port, giving you a double seal on top of the internal valve. It's called a Hot Water Supply Cap.
Here's how to use it:
- Screw the Hot Water Supply Cap onto the warm water port.
- Make sure the black rubber gasket is inserted inside the cap for a tight seal.
