Does the Eau by TUSHY require a Plumber?Updated 3 minutes ago

Yes — and we mean it! The Eau is not a DIY installation.

Unlike TUSHY bidet attachments and bidet seats (which you can have up and running in under 10 minutes), the Eau is a full toilet replacement.

That means it needs to be:

  • Connected to your water supply

  • Bolted securely to your floor flange

  • Connected to your electrical outlet (GFCI required)

  • Properly sealed with a wax ring to prevent leaks

We know — plumbers cost money, and we wish we could spare you the trip. But trust us, a $200 plumber now is a lot better than a flooded bathroom later. 💧

Find a licensed plumber in your area or book a service through Angi.com, our valued partner.

What to tell your plumber:

  • Full toilet replacement (floor-mounted, elongated)

  • Standard 12" rough-in

  • Wax ring and flange included in the box

  • Needs connection to existing shut-off valve via T-adapter

  • Must be within 3 feet of a GFCI outlet
