Help! The Cloud Spray foam isn't dispensing!Updated an hour ago

If your Eau's Cloud Spray Auto-Foaming Cleanser isn't producing foam — or output is weaker than usual — here are the most common causes and how to fix each one.

The Reservoir Is Empty

The most common reason Cloud Spray stops working is a simple one: the reservoir has run out of cleanser. The Eau holds one full bottle of TUSHY Cloud Spray Auto-Foaming Cleanser, and once it's gone, there's nothing left to dispense.

Fix:

  1. Remove the toilet cover by lifting from the indent at the back.
  2. Remove the Rubber Stopper from the Cloud Spray reservoir.
  3. Pour a full new bottle of TUSHY Cloud Spray Auto-Foaming Cleanser into the reservoir. Using a funnel will help prevent spills.
  4. Replace the Rubber Stopper securely, then reattach the toilet cover.
  5. Activate Cloud Spray 3–5 times to prime the system — foam may not appear on the first press or two after a refill.

⚠️ Important: Only use TUSHY Cloud Spray Auto-Foaming Cleanser in the reservoir. Other products — including household cleaners or foaming soaps — may damage the dispenser and void your warranty.

The System Needs Priming

After a refill or first-time setup, the cleanser needs to work its way through the dispenser tubing before foam appears at the nozzle. This is completely normal and not a sign of a defect.

Fix:

  1. Press the Cloud Spray button on the remote.
  2. Repeat 3–5 times. Full foam output should begin after a few activations.

💡 Tip: If you've just installed the Eau for the first time, expect to prime a few extra times before the system is fully charged.

Auto Cloud Spray Is Turned Off

If you're expecting foam to appear automatically after each flush but nothing is happening, the auto-activation feature may have been toggled off.

Fix:

  1. Hold the Cloud Spray button on the remote for 5 seconds.
  2. The toilet will beep once to confirm auto Cloud Spray is now ON.
  3. Two beeps means it was just turned off — hold the button for 5 seconds again to turn it back on.

The Toilet Has No Power

Cloud Spray is an electronic function — it requires the Eau to be powered on. If the unit has no power, no dispenser functions will work.

Fix:

  1. Confirm the Eau is plugged firmly into a 3-prong 120V GFCI outlet.
  2. Check the outlet for a tripped GFCI — press the RESET button on the outlet if the button is popped out.
  3. Confirm the digital display on the seat is lit. A dark display means the unit is off or has no power.

The Rubber Stopper Is Missing or Unseated

The Cloud Spray system is pressurized — the Rubber Stopper in the reservoir opening is what allows the foam to dispense correctly. If it's been left out or isn't seated properly, the system can't build the pressure it needs.

Fix:

  1. Remove the toilet cover by lifting from the indent at the back.
  2. Check that the Rubber Stopper is fully inserted into the reservoir opening.
  3. Press it down firmly until it sits flush and secure.
  4. Replace the toilet cover and test Cloud Spray.

Still Not Dispensing?

If you've worked through all of the above and Cloud Spray still isn't producing foam, there may be a mechanical issue with the dispenser itself. Please don't attempt to open or service the dispenser unit — contact our Poo-Rus and we'll take care of you.
