Help! I ordered the wrong Wave shape—What should I do?Updated 16 days ago
No worries — this is an easy fix. Whether you didn’t know your toilet’s bowl shape when you ordered, or you’re moving your TUSHY Wave to a new toilet, you don’t need to replace the entire bidet.
Step 1: Confirm your toilet bowl shape
First, double-check whether your toilet is round or elongated.
Some toilets are tricky to identify by sight, so measurements are the most reliable way to confirm.

Step 2: Order the correct seat & lid (no full return needed)
If you do have the wrong shape, you can simply order a replacement seat and lid in the correct shape from our Spare Parts page.
Swapping them out is quick and easy:
Remove the existing seat and lid
Snap the new ones into place
You’re good to go!
Bonus perk: Having both seat shapes can be handy if you move, upgrade your toilet, or switch setups in the future.

How to swap the seat & lid
Follow these guides for step-by-step instructions:
Important: Please keep the sliding locks from your original seat and lid — you’ll need them for the replacement.
Step 3: Check your serial number before ordering

Before placing your replacement order, check your Wave’s serial number, located on the back of the unit. This ensures you select the correct seat and lid version.
Your serial number includes a date code. The first four numbers represent the month and year (MMYY).
Serial numbers with a date code between XXX092400000 and XXX042599999
→ Select the 2025 versionSerial numbers with a date code between XXX082500001 or later
→ Select the 2026 version (arriving by March!)
